Brad Thompson joined J.P. Morgan Securities in 2009. He began his investment career in 1996 with American Express in a variety of client-facing and management roles. Brad joined Mark McConnell at Merrill Lynch in 2005 where he and Mark formed the team today known as the MTN Group. While at Merrill Lynch, Brad developed customized short-term fixed income management strategies for the Qualified Intermediary Industry. Brad earned a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin with a concentration in Government, History, and Latin American Studies. Brad also earned a graduate certificate from Southern Methodist University’s Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. Brad has been a portfolio manager in the J.P Morgan Securities Portfolio Manager Program since 2009.
