Francis M. "Chip" Traynor Jr.
Chip Traynor has 46 years of experience in the financial services industry. Chip joined J.P. Morgan Securities from Morgan Keegan & Co. in August of 2009 where he worked since 2004. Chip began his career at The Robinson Humphrey Company in Atlanta in 1968, which became Smith Barney. Chip was a member of the Board of Directors for Robinson Humphrey for twenty-three years and was also an Allied Member of the New York Stock Exchange during that time. Chip specializes in investment management, wealth management and retirement planning for high net worth clients.
Chip holds a B.A. in History and a minor in English from Florida State University, where he was a founding member of the Advisors to the College of Arts & Sciences. Chip is active in his community and serves as a founding member of the Atlanta Board of “Golfers Against Cancer” as well as a little league football coach. He and his wife Susan are members of Peachtree Presbyterian Church. They have been married for 44 years and have three grown children.
