David Li is a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Securities. David is responsible for managing investments and develops overall asset allocation strategies for private clients. David is a Portfolio Manager in the J.P. Morgan Securities Portfolio Manager Program, which enables him to actively manage client portfolios using J.P. Morgan's world class research capabilities across several different investment strategies.
David began his career at J.P. Morgan's New York headquarters as an Analyst and subsequently held several positions. He served as an Associate Equity Strategist and was a member of the firm's investment strategy team. David was responsible for analyzing global markets with a concentration in U.S. equities. In this capacity, David collaborated with the Chief Investment Officer and other senior strategists in the development of the firm's investment outlook.
From March 2007 to March 2009, David was a Portfolio Manager for the J.P. Morgan Focused Equity Fund, a concentrated investment strategy managed exclusively for J.P. Morgan Private Bank clients. In addition, David contributed to the security selection and development of the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management global equity lists, totaling $4.6 billion in client investments from March 2009 to September 2010.
David is a graduate of Boston College Carroll School of Management with a concentration in finance. David is also fluent in Chinese (Mandarin).
