About Shawn

Shawn Stanley is a Vice President and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Shawn and his team serve the investment needs of a broad client base, including high-net-worth individuals, families, corporate executives, small business owners and institutions. With more than 15 years of investment experience, he develops customized strategies for each of his clients, and tailored asset allocations to meet their needs and investment objectives. Shawn and his team draw on the firm's intellectual capital and research to help build diversified portfolios for clients. This may include traditional equities and bond products, as well as alternative investments, including hedge funds, private equity, options, currency and structured products, when appropriate.

Shawn benefits from his team's extensive industry experience. They work closely with their clients' advisors and J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Global Wealth Management Group to help deliver investment insights regarding estate planning, management and liquidation of concentrated stock positions, and the sales of privately held businesses. He utilizes J.P. Morgan's robust investment and service platform to serve the ever-expanding needs of his client base. He leverages the firm's financial planning capabilities to assist clients in exploring the statistical likelihood of helping to achieve their financial goals. Analyzing each client's unique fact pattern, he tailors each portfolio using various asset allocation designs.

Shawn began his investment career as a Relationship Manager and Bank Officer at JPMorgan Chase Bank (1999–2001). He worked at Neuberger Berman as a Vice President prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2014.

Shawn graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, with a B.B.A., and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. He and his wife, Alison, have two school-age children, a son, Trevor, and a daughter, Lauren. In his free time, Shawn enjoys the outdoors, playing golf and going camping with his family. He is also active in his church.
