David J. Pollock
David Pollock is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor with J.P. Morgan Securities, the wealth management division of J.P. Morgan. He and his team serve high net worth individuals, corporate executives and foundations by offering investment consulting and wealth management services. David also is a member of the J.P. Morgan Securities Portfolio Manager Program (PM Program), an exclusive group of advisors who have completed a screening process to manage discretionary assets, and are subject to on-going qualitative and quantitative reviews.
David began his 35-year financial services career after college, honing his skills in both investment banking and branch management. He credits his management through bear markets, coupled with his team's combined over 80 years of experience, as key components in understanding the risk and comfort levels of multi-generations of clients, and to help better serve them.
David initially joined E.F. Hutton & Company in 1977, and then went to Oppenheimer & Co., from 1979-1990, serving in both wealth management and investment banking capacities. He moved to J.P. Morgan Securities' predecessor firm, Bear Stearns, in 1990. Money Magazine named him as one of the top brokers in the United States in 1987.
A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, with a B.A. degree in Economics and History, David was a board member of the Jewish Federation Council of Los Angeles and Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills. He graduated from the Wexner Heritage Program, and served on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation. He served as Chairman and now is an Advisory Board Member of the Milken Institute Israel Center. David supports institutions of higher learning and research and services for special needs children. He and his wife, Lynn, live in Los Angeles and have five children. He enjoys golf, flying, music and basketball.
