Robert W. Kelly
Rob Kelly is a registered portfolio manager at J.P. Morgan Securities. Rob's primary responsibilities include investment research, portfolio management and trading. As the Kelly Group's dedicated portfolio manager, Rob brings over 19 years of experience in investment research, portfolio management and trading.
Rob joined Bear Stearns, which was renamed J.P. Morgan Securities, in March 2009. Previously, Rob was a senior portfolio manager at Smith Barney. Rob joined Smith Barney when Citigroup acquired Legg Mason in 2005. Before joining Smith Barney, Rob was vice president of investments and a senior portfolio manager at Legg Mason. His performance and background qualified him as a senior portfolio manager under Legg Mason's Managed Investment Portfolio Program. Prior to joining Legg Mason he was a portfolio manager at Prudential Securities.
Rob is currently a member of the Board of Trustees and a former Chairman of the Finance Committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. He is the founder of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC "Race for the Kids," which is one of the premier charity family run/walks in New York City. He earned a degree in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University. Rob is married, has one daughter and twin sons and resides in New York City.
