Executive Director

David Eder is a Financial Advisor with J.P. Morgan Securities, the wealth management division of J.P. Morgan. He and his team specialize in managing comprehensive investment needs for wealthy individuals and their families. David's clients benefit from J.P. Morgan's reputation and array of resources delivered in a boutique environment. He creates asset allocation strategies and customizes client portfolios through both firm's brokerage platform and Portfolio Advisor Program, with access to a range of resources, to help meet each client's personal objectives.

David has been in the financial services industry since 1995, beginning as an institutional trader. The industry's changing dynamics impelled him to move to the wealth management side believing that his solid industry knowledge and passion for the markets would create value for the clients he serves. With a reputation for being efficient, organized and trustworthy, David earns clients' ongoing allegiance by identifying what matters to them, understanding their business success and appreciating their personal values. He then relies on that blueprint to help position their portfolio to reflect their particular risk tolerance and objectives. Throughout the process, David pays close attention to fluctuating market conditions, and will recommend reallocation of assets to take advantage of new opportunities that may arise.

David began his career at Knight Capital (1996-2006) and then moved to Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor from 2006-2011, prior to joining J.P. Morgan late in 2011.

David graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. degree in international relations, and attended the Peddie School, in Princeton, NJ. He and his wife, a local orthodontist, live in Bedford, NY with their two daughters.
